About Me
I'm the President of Pentax Imaging (USA), and an avid photographer. I'm very fortunate to have a day job that combines my love of photography with leading a company in selling and marketing cameras. Prior to Pentax, I worked in product marketing and planning roles at Canon Computer Systems, Polaroid, Adobe Systems, Agfa-Gevaert and NEC. I've operated two studios over my career, most recently Bunnell Photography in San Clemente, CA .

That looks like a good 18" of snow. San Clemente is better this time of year!
Hey Yvon, nice hearing from you. I think they said downtown Golden got almost 2 ft, and towns just a few miles west got over 30". Can't wait to get back to San Clemente for the weekend :-)
wow...all of a sudden i just feel like i shouldn't complain about the rain here...
I'm looking forward to it getting here :D Snow I mean :)
And the K30D :P
woah! that's a lot of snow. yesterday, I took all mediterranean plants from my balcony saving them over the wintertime. thank god we do have autumn here! ,-)
Ned, you should get the white K-x and use your black one to take a poster shot of Pentax K-x in the snow. It really shows the beauty and genius plan in blending the color in K-x with its environment. I give you another bravo if the 4 standard color in black, silver, blue and white are available for the K-7 next version.
I have a recent post on Repsonse to Pentax limited-edition Korejanai K-x and you can see the humor and support that stanton11 and I have on the k-x model.
All the best, I hope you have a poster with white k-x in the snow.

Hey Ned,
Nice pics. We got about an inch here today. I just got my new white K-x and I love it. But I have a question. It appears to be missing a feature I was very much looking forward to. I can't find anywhere how to do interval shooting with it. I have made a few great timelapse vids with my optioW60 and I was looking forward to being able to make even better ones with the K-x. On the product demo video it says that it should be able to do this but it is no where to be found in the manual or in the menu system. Would it be possible to include this feature in a future firm wear update?
thanks,
Mike
I'm worried about the same subject as Mike above here. I've been working on time lapse with mye K10D. It doesn't have buildt in support for interval shooting like the K-7 and K20D, but they only support 99 images, which isn't useful at all :/
I've been using a third party wire release with the functionality I need (Yongnuo is the brand, found it on eBay, it has good build quality and lots of good features).
But I've sold the K10D now so I can buy a white K-x, but, from what I've figured and heard, it doesn't support a wire release, only a remote control :(
It's hopeless to stand there and push the remote for interval shooting. It will be irregular and you'll tire of it very fast.
If there will be a firmware upgrade to the K-x to support interval shooting, I hope it will support shooting until the card is full or at least 999 images, not just 99.
