Pentax and International Center of Photography, NYC

After many years of not being a member,  Pentax became a corporate sponsor of the International Center of Photography in New York in the Fall of 2009. We held the K-x announcement event at ICP on September 16th, where we invited members of the press, analysts, bloggers and key sales accounts from the greater NY/NJ metro area. In January, we continued our participation in key ICP events, and received some news coverage. Links provided below.

Mr. Bunnell I wanted to let you know something odd about your blog. I have not seen an update since your November 21 post until today. The other more recent posts did not show up even as late as this weekend. Then today all of them appeared. I do not know if this is unique to me but I have not seen this problem with any other blog that I follow. Glad to see that your are still around. I shoot pentax film (ME super and spotmatic II) and a K20D, my daughter has a K10D.

Brian, Jess and Dan,
Thanks for noticing. With the Holidays, two major trade shows in January, account visits, numerous projects etc., I just took a little R&R from blogging. I posted these recent entries using the actual date I "took" the photos versus the date I added the posts. Cheers, Ned

Thanks for the update Ned. There has been speculation that maybe you had joined the Dark Side. :)

Hey Ned,

Love the blog, check it weekly. I was wondering if there is a definite release date for the Optio I-10? So far it just says end of February everywhere I've looked. I cannot wait for this thing to come out.

I have a K7, but I've been looking for a "carry at all times" camera and this looks amazing with the vintage style, I love the look of it!
