Photos shot with K20D and FA 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens.
(Note: As we sourced this product in the US, from Case Logic, I don't know if other Pentax subsidiaries will carry it.)
A few people have asked if you can use this case for the FA Limited's. As I only have a 31mm Limited with me, I posted a photo below showing this lens in the case. Not sure if the photo does a good job of showing it, but the 31mm is too big for the case. Very tight fit and too much pressure on the zipper to close the case. Sort of like trying to fit a size 10 foot in a 9 shoe!
I like this. Now I'll just need a couple more limited lenses to fill it up. My 31 would be so lonely inside.

ReplyDeleteIt's quite nice, and undoubtedly useful for DA Limiteds, but, what about the FA ones ? I would like to be sure that my 31 and my 77 fit well inside ...

ReplyDeleteI don't use the original FA 31 Ltd lens cap. I think that will help the situation a bit in this case.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is if you're carrying all 3 FA Ltds, surely 1's going to be on the Camera. So it should fit 2 FA Ltds.
It'll be good if Pentax can source 1 for the FA Ltds as well.
I like the size of the case. My only concern is while holding and opening the case, I can see the potential for one of the lenses to slip out of the case. I would have preferred the zipper to be on the top rather than on the sides. my 2c
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice accessory. I wonder if it will fit an FA 50 1.4? That and the DA 21 are the only small lenses I currently own, so the case wouldn't see much use if it didn't fit the 50.
